Hi, I'm Kevin.

I’m a husband, father, certified personal trainer, and strength & conditioning coach.

Fitness is my passion.

And I want to share that passion with you.

Fitness has always been a big part of my life. Early on, it was in the form of sports. Baseball, basketball, football, golf...you name it, I played it. In high school, my focus shifted to the weight room. I stumbled upon a little website called bodybuilding.com, and the rest is history. I fell in love with testing different training methods and nutrition strategies.

My freshman year at The University of Texas at Austin, I became the school's mascot (that's right, Hook 'Em) mainly because it granted me access to the private athletic facilities. There, I learned from (and trained with) some of the best coaches and athletes in the country.

Upon graduating from UT with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2013, I moved back to Houston (where I was born and raised). After a couple years working the typical 9-5 job, I decided that I wanted to make fitness more than just a hobby. I started a blog, got a part-time job coaching, and began training clients.

I am now the Strength & Conditioning Coach at Paradigm Training Center, Houston's premiere MMA gym. There, I lead 5 classes per week and train amateur and professional MMA fighters, jiu jitsu competitors, wrestlers, and the general public.

I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer- working with clients both in-person and online.

I co-host the Saved by the Barbell Podcast with Justin Ochoa, and regularly contribute articles to fitness publications such as STACK.com.

I currently live in Houston, TX with my wife (Brittany), daughter (Aubrey), and son (Gavin).
